Welcome to Your Path to Healing and Growth!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anger that creates conflicts and strains relationships? Do anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, or issues of self-worth seem to intensify these struggles, leaving you searching for peace?

Many individuals and couples experience intense emotional distress that manifests as anger, anxiety, or depression, making it difficult to maintain healthy relationships and find inner peace. The emotional weight can leave you feeling stuck and unsure of how to move forward.

I offer a trauma-informed, holistic approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Somatic Techniques and Family Systems Therapy. I tailor my approach to address the unique aspects of your situation.

By providing a safe, non-judgmental space, I help you explore your emotions and experiences openly. Together, we will work on exploring and gaining insights into your inner world, developing practical coping strategies, fostering resilience, and building healthier relationships. My goal is to create an empathetic and supportive environment where you can find peace and strength.

Experience: With over 20 years of experience working with individuals and couples, I bring a deep well of expertise to my practice. My background spans extensive work in non-profit and pastoral settings, focusing on individual, premarital, and couples pastoral counselling, as well as conflict resolution and conciliation. Additionally, my experience as a business owner has honed my leadership, problem-solving, and empathy skills, enriching my clinical approach. Holding a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University, I integrate my past experience with a clinical, evidence-based approaches, ensuring clients receive sensitive, effective support through a trauma-informed lens.

More than just work: I find joy in cooking, a passion inspired by my experience as a co-founder and executive chef of Farm to Table Meals, and in bringing family and friends together around my table. I also enjoy working out with my husband, taking long walks with my dog while listening to mystery audiobooks, and hearing my daughter sing. And, of course, I can’t resist a great cup of coffee! As Hermann Hesse wisely said, “Within you, there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself.”
